A Few Words on Gratitude

December 19, 2019
December 19, 2019 – As we prepare to wind things down for the year and look to enjoy a period of rest and relaxation, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what a monumental year it has been for our clients and our team, and share my excitement for the year ahead in 2020.
This year we have successfully integrated two wonderful companies into Evoke KYNE and in support of our clients and partners we fought flu, Guinea worm disease and malaria; we drove news in Ebola and for new life-changing cancer medicines; we helped empower advocates and engaged employees; we convened patients and caregivers and scientific leaders, all with the goal of helping people live healthier lives. I can’t think of a better mandate.
As a team, we stepped, we ran and meditated; we volunteered and gave back to our communities; we celebrated new babies and pets, engagements, weddings and promotions; we laughed, we cried, we sang; and we took moments to acknowledge each other for our accomplishments. And to top off, we were named one of the Best Places to work by PR News and Global Healthcare Agency of the Year by the Holmes report. Reflecting on this brings me so much joy and gratitude.
I am so optimistic and excited for what 2020 has in store. Shaping and executing new programming with our clients, continuing to take on some of the biggest challenges in health. Internally, we are prioritizing the expansion of our Diversity & Inclusion work, a new global leadership structure, and growth of our digital, creative and media teams. All to help us service our clients even better, and ensure we can have the greatest impact in health while nurturing a creative and inclusive workplace for our employees.
I am extremely grateful to the clients who put their trust in us, to our partners who help us deliver on this important work, and to our dedicated team members around the globe who lead with their passion for health, and continue to surpass my every expectation.
Feicfidh mé sibh an bhliain seo chugainn.
