New York, December 22, 2016 – KYNE, a health communications consultancy, today announced the promotion of Amanda Mulally and Michael Grela to senior vice presidents of the agency. The appointments reflect the long-term commitment and success of both individuals to effectively serve KYNE’s clients, manage teams, and help drive the ongoing growth of the firm.

“I’m so excited to be promoting leaders that I know will continue to contribute to the overall success of KYNE,” said David Kyne, founder and CEO of KYNE. “Amanda’s loyalty over six years and her relentless dedication to our clients and the teams she leads is evidenced by her continued successes. She is constantly pushing the boundaries and capabilities of our firm, and fosters an enthusiastic environment for her colleagues,” said Kyne.

“Over the past five years, Michael has demonstrated a genuine passion for top-notch work and sets the bar high for client service. His astute leadership on client engagements has resulted in organic growth for our business and this year he was instrumental in the design of and move into our new NYC home, showcasing his commitment to making KYNE a great place to work,” said Maureen Byrne, executive vice president and general manager, NY.

As senior vice presidents, Mulally and Grela will move into executive leadership roles on the client engagements they oversee, while expanding their management responsibilities for internal initiatives. Mulally will continue to elevate staff development and Grela will continue to drive company marketing efforts, both across all geographies.

KYNE has also promoted LA-based Jonathan Kay to vice president, and made several mid- and junior- level appointments across all offices. Kay will continue to drive West Coast-based client engagements and support L.A. business operations.

“In the short time that Jonathan has been with KYNE, he has already made such an impact,” said Wendy Woods-Williams, executive vice president and general manager, KYNE Los Angeles. “I can’t wait to see what he will accomplish in this new role.”

The appointments support the firm’s growing client base across all geographies, revenues that are poised to break $6M in 2016. To support this growth, KYNE recently relocated its flagship office in NYC.
