Michael Grela Elected 2023 President of the Society for Health Communication

January 23, 2023 – Michael Grela, Evoke Kyne’s EVP, Head of Reputation and Social Impact, has been reelected President of the Society for Health Communication, a member-driven organization working to advance the science of health communication. The Society advocates for the use of evidence-based communication strategies to inform, empower and motivate individuals and communities to lead healthier lives. In his second term, Grela will be responsible for overseeing the Society’s Steering Committee and partnering with Executive Director Diane Brodalski, Vice President Ashani Johnson-Turbes and Member-at-Large Stacy Robison to advance its newly established five-year membership engagement and growth strategy. He has been a member of its Steering Committee since 2017, previously served as its Vice President, 2020-2021, and served in his first term as President in 2022.
At Evoke Kyne, Michael oversees client engagements in environmental, social and governance (ESG), reputation and social impact as well as the agency’s own social impact programs, external communications, awards and publications, thought leadership and related employee engagement.
